Public toilet facilities across Torbay reopen

Public toilet facilities have reopened across Torbay with additional cleaning regimes in place.

A spokesperson for Torbay council said: “We have been working hard with Healthmatic to reopen all public toilet facilities across Torbay that were available pre-lockdown, meaning there are over 20 locations with facilities that are open for use.

“Facilities at Goodrington South, Parkside and Preston Central remain closed whilst we continue with our £2million investment on refurbishment works to improve public facilities across Torbay.

“Across open sites, additional cleaning regimes and frequencies are in place, and users are asked to adhere to the guidance with regards to social distancing and hygiene, both before and after using the facilities.

“Lymington Road facilities remain closed whilst the car park continues to be used as a coronavirus mobile testing site.

“For locations and opening times of all public toilets facilities across Torbay visit our website.”
