Public warned to stay away following cliff fall at Livermead

The public have been warned to stay away from an area of cliff at Livermead following a large cliff fall.

The public are advised to stay away from both the cliff top and the area below.

Tor Bay Harbour Authority & Beaches posted on Facebook: “We have been advised of a cliff fall at Livermead, Torbay, which may still be unstable both at sea level and on the cliff top as it is likely to be dangerous.

“Please avoid the area until a full survey can be completed.”

Torbay Council added: “There’s been a large cliff fall at Livermead. We are just establishing next steps but please be careful if you are around the area & close to the cliffs.”
