Renewed appeal for witness following serious collision on A38

Police are still appealing for information following a serious collision on the A38 in December.

The collision happened on Thursday 30 December on the northbound carriageway at Haldon Hill at around 4.20pm

Both cars, a Porsche Boxster and a Volkswagen Golf left the carriageway as a result of the collision. Three people, including an 18-month-old boy, were seriously injured.

Three people in the Volkswagen Golf were treated for serious injuries and taken to Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. The 18-month-old boy was later taken to Bristol Children’s Hospital where he was recently discharged.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and asking for any witnesses to contact them. They are also keen to receive any relevant dashcam footage.
