The fire service were called to reports of a trapped sheep in Teignmouth earlier this week.
Two fire engines from Teignmouth, along with the specialist rescue team from Exmouth attended the incident in Sawer Drive, Teignmouth on Tuesday, 24th April just before 5.30pm.
The lucky sheep was released by firefighters and was uninjured.
The fire service said on their website: “Once the crew got in attendance they successfully released the sheep uninjured with the use of small tools.
“The crew were able to secure the sheep and the care of the animal was handed over to the farmer and the crews returned home station,”
