Resurfacing works on New Road in Brixham

Resurfacing works on New Road in Brixham

Motorists are advised that resurfacing works will be carried out in Brixham next week.

The works will be taking place on New Road, Brixham between Glenmore Road and Lindthorpe Way from Wednesday 24 February for 2 weeks. There will be two way traffic lights in operation, but there is expectd to be some local disruption.

SWISCo will be carrying out resurfacing works on behalf of Torbay Council.

Cllr Mike Morey, Cabinet Member for Infrastructure, Environment and Culture for Torbay Council, said; “As part of our continuous commitment to structural maintenance across the Bay, these works are necessary and need to be carried out. There may be some local disruption whilst these works are carried out, but together we with SWISCo we will work to minimise the disruption as much as possible”.
