Work has began to dismantle the English Riviera wheel before it goes up to London for the winter season.
The wheel which arrived in March and opened on Saturday 1 April was due to be here until Saturday 28 October. The wheel has left early for maintenance work.
The wheel will head to London for Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland which runs from Friday 17 November 2017 to Monday 1 January 2018
The wheel has been enjoyed by locals and tourists throughout the summer. It has often been lit up to mark events such as Grease the musical and also lit up in support of the victims of the Manchester terror attack with the message “stay strong”
