The A379 Teignmouth Road is currently closed both ways due to an accident involving a motorbike.
The road is closed from Claddon Lane to Rock House Lane.
Emergency services are at the scene. The air ambulance is reported to have landed nearby.
It is not known how many vehicles were involved.
The road is expected to be closed for sometime.
Traffic in the area is heavy. Expect delays and diversions.
