Road closed due to major blaze in Brixham

Firefighters remain at the scene of a major fire in Brixham this morning, Wednesday 27th June.

The fire say they received multiple calls to a fire at Torbay Trading Estate in the early hours of this morning.

Three crews from Brixham and Paignton were initially mobilised to the incident at around 4.30am

The number of appliances was increased to ten.

Advice is to avoid the area.

New Road is currently closed between Cudhill Road and Fore Street in both directions.

Buses are being diverted.

#Torbay-due to fire in New Road Brixham all 12 service vehicles will be operating via Monksbridge Road and Bolton Street in both directions until further notice.
