Church Street in Kingsbridge is closed due to what police have described as a “major incident” today, Thursday 21 January.
The incident is thought to be gas related.
Residents are being evaluated.
Kingsbridge Police posted on Facebook: “Church Street, Kingsbridge is closed due to a major incident due to a possible gas explosion. We are in the process of evacuating residents.
Please avoid the area. (Log 284)”
Church Street is closed between Dodbrooke Inn and Ebrington Street.
