Update: The road is now open. Police incident has ended. It is reported one man has been arrested.
Hele Road in Torquay is currently closed both ways due to a police incident.
Emergency services are on scene at the Salisbury Avenue Junction on Hele Road.
Police, fire and ambulance crews are in attendance.
Locals in the area have reported armed police have also arrived on scene.
Traffic is delayed in and around the area whilst emergency services deal with the incident.
