Hellevoetsluis Way in Torquay is closed due to a collision this afternoon, Tuesday 19th May.
The road is closed Paignton bound from Gallows Gate roundabout to Preston Down Roundabout.
Traffic in and around the area is delayed with diversions in place.
The road is expected to be closed for some time.
Police, ambulance are on scene with the air ambulance reported to have landed nearby.
A spokesperson for Paignton Police said on Facebook: “We are currently at the scene of an RTC on HELLEVOETSLUIS WAY.
“The road has been closed and will likely remain closed for the evening.
“Diversions are in place but please avoid the area if possible to aid the flow of traffic.”
