Update: The road is now open. The female pedestrian was taken to hospital. The extent of her injuries are currently unknown.
Hele Road in Torquay is currently closed following a serious collision in Hele this morning, Saturday 7th June.
The collision, which locals report to have involved a car and pedestrian happened just before 10am outside Farmfoods.
Police remain at the scene.
The road is currently closed both ways. Traffic is coping well with drivers using Cricketfield Road/Penny’s Hill as a diversion.
Farmfoods is open but customers are unable to access the car park at present.
