Road remains closed after two people taken to hospital following collision

Two people have been taken to hospital following a collision on St Marychurch Road this morning, 4th January.

Emergency services were called to reports of a collision on the Milber Back road around 7.30am this morning.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were in attendance. 

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said on their website: “Two fire appliances from Torquay attended an RTC involving two vehicles. Crews arrived on scene and two casualties were being removed to hospital via Ambulance. Firefighters made the vehicles and scene safe, and duty of care was left with the Police,”

Two people were taken to Torbay hospital. 

The road remains closed whilst the area is cleared up.
