On Saturday 22 July Rowcroft Hospice is opening its beautiful grounds for the public to enjoy as it throws a summer Garden Party.
This rare opportunity will give the local community chance to wander Rowcroft’s award-winning gardens while having a fun, family day out.
There will be a host of stalls selling cakes, cream teas and hot food, as well as non-stop entertainment from a ukulele orchestra, swing band and performance from the Rowcroft choir.
For children – and big children – there will also be a bouncy castle, bowling, face painting, Go Karts and an Animal HQ.
Rowcroft’s Events Manager, Daniel Robson, said: “The Garden Party will be open from 12 – 4pm, welcoming families and guests of all ages to celebrate with us, while raising vital funds for the hospice. There will be much to see and do, including a birds of prey display, face painting, massage and yoga as well as a full programme of live music.”
The fun will culminate in a grand prize draw with prizes donated by local businesses across South Devon.
Adult entry to the party costs £2 with entry for under-16s free.
Mark Hawkins, Rowcroft’s Chief Executive, added: “The Garden Party is a wonderful way to say thank you to all those who have given us tremendous support over the last, very challenging year. Whether you are a volunteer or fundraiser, play our lottery, shop in our retail stores, make regular donations or just want to have a lovely family day out – I look forward to welcoming you”.
