| ‘Last Sunday was a brilliant day,’ they say. ‘What a turnout of amazing new and established people – and what a standard of audition. Pretty much everybody was deserving of a lead role, which made selection incredibly difficult!’
They’re now waiting to hear from everyone about accepting roles, but as it stands they’ve been able to fully cast the entire production, and, they’re happy to add, ‘it’s outstanding!
Macbeth will be staged later in the year, something I’m really excited about as a huge fan of Shakespeare who’s suffering from withdrawal symptoms down here in the South West after being spoilt by years in London where Shakespeare was – almost literally with The Globe just a short journey away – on your doorstep.
