Police say that a male entered a shop and asked to buy a significant number of lottery scratch cards. Once the cashier has handed the cards over he has then said that he has forgotten his wallet or similar. He has then left the shop with the scratch cards and not returned with payment. It is thought he is using a vehicle.

Police advise to be vigilant and inform staff and to phone 999 if you have a person giving a similar storyline on scene, or 101 if you have any information quoting crime CR/098952/18.
