Police, Coastguard crews and the RNLI are searching for a missing person this evening, Friday 1st June.
The police helicopter has been hovering over the Paignton coastal area.
Torbay RNLI are searching the coast in their all weather lifeboat.
People in the Broadsands area said they’ve been asked by police and Coastguard crews if they have seen a missing woman.
