South West hospice receives heart warming £2,500 donation from local housebuilder

Local homebuilder Barratt David Wilson Homes Exeter has donated £2,500 to Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW), as part of the leading housing developer’s Community Fund initiative.

The Barratt Developments Community Fund initiative looks to support those causes which have a positive impact within their local communities. For 30 years Children’s Hospice South West has been providing crucial care to children with life-threatening conditions and their families. The charity’s Little Bridge House children’s hospice near Barnstaple in North Devon, alongside Little Harbour in St Austell, and Charlton Farm near Bristol, are dedicated to making the most of short and precious lives.

Emma Perry, Head of Fundraising at Little Bridge House, said: “We are incredibly grateful to Barratt David Wilson Homes for their generous donation, which will help provide vital care for local families facing unimaginable challenges.”

Nicki Reid, sales director for Barratt David Wilson Homes Exeter, said, “Community is at the heart of our developments and we are thrilled to support local charities like CHSW that make an enormous difference in our communities.
