Greggs have announced they will be opening their doors to couples on Valentine’s Day for a romantic dinner.
Selected shops will be transformed into restaurants to give couples a unique dining experience.
Unfortunately, none of the Greggs West Country shops will be taking part, meaning a trip to London, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle or Cardiff if you want to book.
The four-course set menu, accompanied with a bottle of prosecco, will cost you a very reasonable £15 for two.

Greggs said on their website: “This Valentine’s Day, we’re opening our doors for couples to enjoy a romantic, candlelit dinner in shops for the first time.
“We’re transforming selected shops into restaurants designed for romance, complete with mood lighting and music, roses, candles and linen tablecloths.
“Instead of ordering at the till, couples will be served and receive first class table service in our first ‘fine dining’ experience, while serenaded by romantic classical music.”
You could of course still have a Greggs experience and look lovingly at your date over a steak bake on a local part bench. There would be no table service or classical music but it’s the thought that counts, right?
