Police are making enquiries following the discovery of a body in Paignton this morning.
Police remain at the scene after being called to Church Street at 5.25am following concerns for the welfare of a person in the street. The person was declared deceased at the scene.
The area is cordoned off and scene of crimes officers are investigating.
Police are currently treating the death as unexplained, and await the outcome of a forensic post-mortem later this afternoon.
