Study History at South Devon College

South Devon College offers a great opportunity for local people in Torbay and the surrounding area to study History with English. This is the first 2 years of a degree programme – a qualification in its own right and with an opportunity to complete the third year at Plymouth University and achieve a History or History with English BA (Hons).

This degree is for those who love History and English and those who are interested in local history and heritage. You may like to engage in projects and research and want to study for a degree in your own community.

The History with English Foundation Degree offers exciting modules such as: ‘What is History’; ‘The Dawning of America’; ‘The Reformation’; ‘Intro to Literature – Elizabethan to the Victorians’; ‘Degeneration and Decline’, ‘History and Visual Culture’ – taught by brilliant, enthusiastic lecturers who care about their subject and their students.

If you felt University wasn’t for you, it is now. This is an accessible, enjoyable and achievable Course for local people… why not sign up for September 2019?
