A spokesperson said today: “Thank you to all Torbay residents for your continued patience as crews from SWISCo have been working hard to catch up on your recycling collections following recent disruptions.

“We have managed to catch up on a number of rounds but there are still a few outstanding ones that will need collecting next week.

“If at all possible, for those who are left, please bring your recycling back in and place out again in front of your home on Monday morning.

“Additional teams are working to help with the catch up and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

“Please help our crews by separating your recycling into the correct boxes https://www.torbay.gov.uk/recycling/what-goes-in-my-bin/recycling-boxes/”
