Police have appealed for witnesses following a fatal collision in Paignton yesterday, Tuesday 19 March.
Emergency services were called to reports of a single vehicle collision at approximately 7.35pm on Brixham Road.
The motorcyclist, a 19-year-old local male, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
The road was closed whilst the scene was investigated by police.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police Said: “Officers investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision are appealing for anybody who may have witnessed the collision or motorcycles in and around the area at the time of the collision to please make contact as soon as possible.
“Officers are especially keen to hear from people with CCTV or dashcam footage. Please contact police online or by telephone on 101, quoting log number 678 of 19 March.”
