A 15-year-old boy was seriously injured in a collision in Torquay at the weekend.
Emergency Services were called to reports of a collision between a Herald 125 motorcycle and a Peugeot van at the junction of Riviera Way and Newton Road in Torquay at around 4am on 31 December.
The teenager, who was believed to be riding the motorcycle was taken to Bristol Hospital with head and leg injuries. He remains in hospital, but his injuries are no longer thought to be life-threatening.
Police say they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
The road was closed for a number of hours for investigation work to take place.
