The beaches you can still visit with your dog

A dog ban is now in place at a number of beaches during the summer months.

The ban in Torbay and South Hams starts tomorrow, Wednesday 1st May and will remain in place until Monday 30th September. In Teignbridge, the ban is already in place, having started on 1st April.

Babbacombe Beach
Beacon Cove
Churston Cove
Elberry Cove
Fairy Cove
Fishcombe Cove
Goodrington Sands – North Sands
Institute Beach
Livermead Sands
Maidencombe Beach
Meadfoot Beach – North Eastern part of the beach
Oyster Cove
Peaked Tor Cove
Saltern Cove
Shoalstone Beach
St Marys Bay
Watcombe Beach

SOUTH HAMS:
Beesands
Dartmouth
East Portlemouth
North Sands
Slapton
Sugary Cove

TEIGNBRIDGE:
Holcombe Beach
Ness Cove
River Beach
Dawlish warren (between groyne 3 and 9)
