The Hotel Collection Bunny Run fundraiser for Cancer Research

On 27th June The Hotel Collection will kick off their Bunny Run fundraiser in support of Cancer Research UK.  Armed with a 4ft bunny mascot, over 12 days, teams from 11 hotels across the UK will be travelling between Aberdeen and Brighton to raise funds for the charity.

Individual hotels will be hosting their own fun days and activities. Over the course of 12 days, teams will have travelled an impressive 1,200 miles. The Hotel Collection is aiming to raise over £12,000 pounds for Cancer Research UK.

The Imperial hotel in Torquay will be hoping for sun on the 11th July when they will be hosting a pool party.

Commenting on their fundraising activities, Peter Manby, Managing Director of The Hotel Collection says:
“The Bunny Run is a fantastic opportunity for everyone across The Hotel Collection to unite, raise money for a good cause and most importantly have some fun as a group. By transporting our bunny mascot from Aberdeen to Brighton, we hope to challenge ourselves by covering 1,200 miles over 12 days and hit our fundraising target.

“The finale of our fundraising activities will see two of our colleagues [Paul Wright and Jason Bramwell from The Old Ship Hotel in Brighton] doing the bunny jump out of a plane in sunny Brighton.

“It goes without saying that I’m immensely proud of everyone who has got involved, whether participating or donating, to help us raise much needed funds for Cancer Research UK. The work they do is paramount to finding a cure for cancer.”

If you would like to support The Hotel Collection’s fundraising activities [it would make them very happy bunnies!]
you can do so by visiting their Virgin Money Giving page today to make a donation. Should you wish to sponsor individual hotels for their efforts, you will find links to their pages at the bottom: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fund/thehotelcollection
