The Torbay Interfaith Forum exists to bring together people who are interested in learning more about the beliefs and practices of different faiths across Torbay.
The Forum aims to foster greater understanding and friendship between people from different local faith groups, and to encourage among the general public a greater appreciation of the rich diversity of belief and practices within our own society and beyond.
For years the Forum has organised talks form a wide range of traditions – and has hosted speakers from our Christian, Moslem, Pagan, Jewish, Buddhist, Atheist, Humanist, Hindu, and other communities.
The latest in a series of these talks on the Bay’s faith traditions is on: “Theosophy – The Ageless Wisdom in the 21st Century”. The speaker is Roni Gail.
All are welcome to the Quaker Meeting House, 48 Tor Hill Road, Torquay, TQ2 5RT on Wednesday 10th October 2018 at 7.30pm
In January the Talk is on ‘ Words Faith and Action’; February is ‘Druidry Today’; March is ‘Sanctifying the Spirit’; April, ‘The Hospital Chaplaincy Team’, May is ‘Humanism’; and June, ‘The Unitarian Church’.
