A third Torbay Hospital patient has died after testing positive COVID-19 it has been confirmed this evening, Sunday 22nd March.
The patient, in their 90s had underlying health conditions.
Yesterday it was announced that two patients at Torbay Hospital had died after testing positive for the coronavirus. Both patients were in their 80s and had underlying health conditions.
There have been 281 deaths in the UK it was announced this afternoon, with 5,683 confirmed cases.
37 people in England have died since yesterday’s announcement. They were aged between 18 and 102. All where in vulnerable groups, including underlying health conditions. The 18-year-old is the UKs youngest coronavirus victim.
