Thousands of homes affected by major power cut in Torquay

Almost 2500 properties in the TQ2 area of Torquay are affected by a power cut.

Parts of the Willows, Shiphay and Chelston are affected.

Western Power Distribution have stated that they estimate the problem will be resolved by 9pm.

The first report of a power outage was Wednesday 9th December at 7.11pm

Some but not all of the TQ2 6 and TQ2 7 postcodes are affected.

This is a high voltage voltage incident.

Incident number INCD-118122-B relates.
