Tickets are now on sale for the 10th Occombe Farm Beer Festival, with thousands of festival-goers expected to head to Occombe Farm on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th June for two days packed with local live music, great food and over 70 varieties of beer and cider.
Popular local bands The Shrine and Mafia 4 will be headlining, with support from acts including 3BF, Triple Threat and 59 Ford.
The festival, which now sees in excess of 7000 people enter its gates over two days, is a vital fundraising event for the Torbay Coast and Countryside Trust, a local charity that cares for over 80% of the Bay’s green spaces including Occombe Farm, Cockington Country Park and Berry Head Nature Reserve.
Laura Ballard, Event Manager for Torbay Coast and Countryside Trust said ‘We are so excited for this year’s festival and the reintroduction of our weekend tickets mean that we can offer festival goers better value for money’.
‘Over the last 10 years, everyone who has come along has helped to raise over £300,000 for the Trust, even though a lot of people don’t even realise that this is a fundraising event. The money raised supports practical conservation to keep some of the most popular green spaces in Torbay open for everyone to enjoy. People can spend the weekend knowing that their partying really is doing good for the Bay.’
Ticket prices are £10 for the Friday and £16 for the Saturday, with Weekend tickets at just £21. Tickets are available online from Thursday 30th April 2015 at www.occombebeerfestival.co.uk or by calling 01803 520022 (Mon-Fri 9am – 5pm only).
