Police are warning the public not to leave valuables in their vehicles following a spate of thefts from vans in Torquay and Newton Abbot.
A number of incidents happened overnight between 8pm on Tuesday 14th November and 7am on Wednesday 15th November.
Around £2000 of power tools were stolen from a van in Sherwell Valley Road, Torquay. A transit van in Raleigh Avenue also had tools stolen.
Vans in the Buckland area of Torquay were also targeted by thieves, with tools stolen.
Police are reminding members of the public not to leave valuables in their vehicles and park on a driveway or garage if possible.
