An online appeal set up after a cattery was severely damaged by a fallen tree has smashed it’s £3000 target and the amount continues to rise as the public continue to donate to help the Torquay centre.
Over 350 people have donated to the fund so far with the donated amount cuurently £5418.58
15 cats had to be evacuated from the centre in Watcombe on Tuesday, 22nd November after a tree slid down the cliffs above the centre severely damaged one of the catteries.
No staff were injured in the incident.
One of Oscar’s 9 lives were used up after the tree fell came through the roof of his enclosure. Oscar spent yesterday relaxing after the ordeal.
