Torbay Hospital has postponed all out-patient appointments for tomorrow, Monday 19th March due to severe weather conditions.
The announcement was made on social media today, Sunday, 18th March.
A spokesperson for Torbay and South Devon NHS foundation trust posted on Facebook: “It is with regret that we have had to make the decision to postpone all out-patient appointments for tomorrow – 19 March. If you were due to have an appointment we will contact you as soon as possible to rearrange your appointment,”
An update was also posted for staff: “All staff who are rostered to be on duty tonight and tomorrow should attend work as normal. There are phone numbers to call below if this is difficult. If for any reason you are not able to get into work you must call their line manager as soon as possible.

Staff transport to/from work – 01803 6 56774 – note we are trying our best to accommodate all requests. If staff can make alternative arrangements that would be very helpful. We cannot guarantee to meet all requests and are doing our best to get people home.
