Update: The road is now open.
Torquay seafront is currently closed as waves crash on to the road causing the road to flood. The road was closed around 10am this morning, 2nd February.
Torbay council have closed the road after a combination of strong winds and high tide sent waves crashing onto the road.
The usual diversions are in place.
