£700k Reconstruction and Resurfacing Programme to commence in Torbay

There will be a number of road closures in and around Torquay Town Centre on Saturday 17 November 2018 to enable this year’s Christmas carnival to take place.

Fleet Walk will be closed to all traffic from 12noon. Buses will be diverted. Fleet Walk will remain closed during the afternoon and evening, until the carnival procession has finished.

The carnival parade will commence at 4.30pm and will depart from Torquay Coach Station. It will proceed through Torre and Trematon Avenue, turning right past Torquay Town Hall. It will continue down Union Street and Fleet Walk, along to The Strand where it will circumnavigate the Clock Tower before concluding at The Princess Theatre.
