6 different towns and villages in Devon feature in a list of the best places to visit in the UK for a relaxing staycation, according to a new study from ARRAN Sense of Scotland.
The brand compared 100 different towns and villages, using data from 9 different criteria including accommodation costs, activities, weather, light and noise pollution, to create a ranking of the UK’s most relaxing staycations.
Torquay came in 30th place, with a score of 59.7 out 100.
Meanwhile, Brixham, Kingsbridge, Dartmouth and Salcombe all also ranked in the top 50 most relaxing staycations.
