Planners vote in favour of Torquay pavilion project

The wait is over and the decision has been made with planners voting in favour of the pavilion project.

The meeting tonight at the Riviera Centre saw planners decide on the future of Torquay Pavilion and car park.

The planning councillors voted as follows:

For: Roger Stringer. Barbara Cunningham, Thomas Winfield, Anna Tolchard, Jane Barnby, Chairman Mark Kingscote

Against: Mike Morey, Steve Darling

Abstained: Chris Robson
