Torquay seafront flooded

Torquay seafront and Torre Abbey Green is currently flooded this morning, Friday, 2nd March following last night’s snow, rain and this mornings high tide/strong winds.

Cars abandoned along the seafront last, one car has been pictured on the green, surrounded by water.

Emergency services are advising for people not to drive.

Public transport is also experiencing major disruptions with many services cancelled completely.

The county is on an amber weather warning following yesterday’s red warning.
