Popular town centre cat Sox has been found today, Sunday 21 February following a dog attack on Friday. (You can read more about the dog attack here)
Sox was located yesterday after a search by his owners and local residents. He was found stuck on a roof, unable to make his own way down. Local roofer Richard Hammond from Roofseal, helped by Tony Bickford were able to safely get Sox from the roof but unfortunately, Sox made a dash for freedom.
He was located again this morning and after a trip to the vets, is back home.
Sox was treated with pain relief and has a few broken nails.
His owners have thanked everyone for their help, adding Sox is currently “grounded”.
