Update: The road is now closed Southbound 5.45pm.

Traffic on the A380 is currently experiencing delays due to a van fire.

The van has pulled up on the side of Helleveotsluis Way and is well alight.

People in the area have said the driver has exited the vehicle safely.

Emergency services are just arriving at the scene at 5.25pm.

The incident happened near Preston Down Road Roundabout and is affecting traffic Paignton bound.
