Two people sure rescued from a car stuck in flood water today.

The fire service were called to Metley Cross, Ogwell near Newton Abbot this morning just before 11.30am

Two appliances from Newton Abbot and a specialist rescue team from Camels Head were mobilised to the incident.

A spokesperson for the fire service said:
“Upon arrival crews confirmed one vehicle in approximately half a meter of flood water, with two persons inside. 

“Crews wearing dry suits got to work to move the vehicle to dry ground”
