A solidarity protest in support of Ukraine is due to take place in Torquay on Saturday 5th March.
Organiser, Jack Dart said: “What is happening in Ukraine is unthinkably cruel and a disaster for the Ukrainian people, and there will be Ukrainians here in Britain and across the globe who are feeling helpless, upset and alone.”
We may not be able to help them on the ground in Ukraine, but we can show our support, galvanise them and keep the flag flying for the people of Ukraine and for democracy in Europe.”
The event begins at 11am outside Torquay town hall, and is due to last roughly 2 hours. There will be speakers, which will be confirmed in the coming days on the Facebook event.
