Richard Randle-Jones, Centre Manager said, “Support for our local community is a key part of our ethos and we are delighted to be continuing that work with Rowcroft through 2018.”

Rosey Oakes, Community Fundraising Manager of Rowcroft Hospice said “We are delighted to have been chosen as charity of the year by the team at Union Square and look forward to a happy and fruitful partnership.”

Rowcroft is South Devon’s only adult hospice and covers an area of over 300 square miles, looking after patients in their own homes and at the hospice’s Inpatient Unit in Torquay.

Rosey added: “We are dedicated to ensuring the 2,000 patients supported by the hospice every year are able to make precious memories with the people they love, during some of the most challenging days of their lives. The support Union Square Shopping Centre will help us to do just that.”

Following on from the success of last year’s Super Saturdays, the team at Union Square are in the midst of planning fun monthly events for all the family, and Rowcroft’s Fundraising Team and volunteers are looking forward to being involved throughout the year.

Richard added: “Come down and join us at Union Square on the first Saturday of the month every month for completely free family fun!”
