Two vehicles were severely damaged in the fire. A nearby building and storage container were also damaged.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said on their website:  “The fire was involving two vehicles and had spread to an adjacent storage building. Crews got to work using two breathing apparatus sets, one hose reel jet and one main jet.

“The building was heavily smoke logged and breathing apparatus was increased to four and hose reel jets increased to two. The vehicles, one commercial small vehicle and a private car were severely damaged. External fittings of the building were slightly damaged by fire, 5% of the storage container damaged by fire and 30% smoke damage,”
