Victim formally identified in Torquay murder investigation

Drugs to be trashed at Torquay pubs and clubs

Devon and Cornwall Police launched a murder investigation after a man was found dead at a property in Warberry Road West on Monday (16th November)

The 36 year old man has now been formally identified as David Earnshaw.

His next of kin have been informed.

Three people from Torquay were initially arrested in connection with the incident – Two men, aged 35 and 43, and a 44-year-old woman were taken to Torquay police station.

The 44 year old woman and 35 year old man have since been released without charge with no further action being taken.

A 38 year old local man was arrested in Torquay on Wednesday 18th November and he remains in custody at Torquay awaiting interview.

The 43 year old man also remains in custody.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police on 101 or email 101@devonandcornwall.pnn.police.uk, quoting log 244 of 16 November.

Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
