Weather damages Meadfoot Promenade

Owing to the strong easterly winds and rough seas over the last couple of days, new cracks in sections of Meadfoot Promenade and the sea defence wall have been detected.

Engineers were on site on Friday morning to assess the damage. During the investigations it was established that the location was identified as an area of anticipated deterioration during the recent underpinning of an adjacent section of the sea wall.
