Here’s South-Devon-Link-Roada competition with a difference….

Ideas for naming the new South Devon Link Road are being invited from local residents and regular users of the Road.

The competition has been launched by Devon County Council and Torbay Council, along with contractors Galliford Try.

Due to be completed at the end of this year, The 5.5km dual carriageway stretches from Newton Abbot to Torquay, and the chosen name will be formalized and used on signposts, maps and on the internet.

“We are looking for names which are simple and imaginative” said Torbay Mayor, Gordon Oliver.

So this is your chance to put your own little stamp on South Devon. Get thinking!

You can submit your suggestions, along with your name, address and phone number by visiting www.southdevonlinkroad.co.uk/roadname or by emailing A380.SDLR@gallifordtry.co.uk
