Following the tarmacing of the new Brixham bound carriageway, this lane will be opened next week (week commencing 3 June) for traffic heading to Brixham. The current Brixham bound lane will then be closed to allow for works on this part of the carriageway. The Paignton bound lane will stay open.

Around week commencing 12 June, the Paignton bound lane will be closed to allow for the construction of the new bus stop. There will be a temporary bus stop on the common ahead of the existing stop. Traffic heading towards Paignton will then use the old Brixham bound lane.

During both of these works, two lanes of traffic will be maintained at all times.

Thank you for your patience during these works. Construction projects like this can often require short notice changes and we are endeavouring to complete each task on time but there may be unforeseen situations which may alter the programme of works. You will also be pleased to know that any further work that requires traffic lights will be undertaken during the evening or overnight. There will be some daytime surfacing works but two lanes of traffic will be maintained during the day.

An updated timetable of the works can be found here: http://socsi.in/6agGo
