A woman has been arrested yesterday, 27th May after throwing knives from a window and threatening residents in Kingsbridge.
Police were called to the property yesterday evening, receiving numerous calls reporting the incident.
A spokesperson for Kingsbridge Police said on their Facebook page:
“At about 2000hrs yesterday Police received numerous calls to attend a residential address in Kingsbridge to a female who was throwing knives out of the window and threatening residents. Local officers attended and attempted to engage with the female but she was uncooperative. It was decided in the interests of justice, and safety for the residents and the female concerned that she should be arrested.
“Officers from across the South Hams and Teignbridge who are suitably trained in public order tactics and with the appropriate safety equipment were called and the address was entered.
“The female was arrested for a Public Order offence and remains in custody at Torquay Police Station,”
