Emergency services were called to a collision on Daddyhole Road, Torquay this evening, Wednesday 26th June.
Police, ambulance and fire crews attended the scene just before 6pm.
One vehicle was involved in the incident, a woman was trapped in a van which had left the road and was on its side on the footpath.
Fire crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to release the woman who was then assisted by paramedics.
